We lunched at Bob & Timmy's Wood Grilled Pizza in North Smithfield, RI today. Had the award-winning thin crust grilled pizza with spinach, garlic, mushrooms & feta. They sprinkle a very little pecorino romano & parmiggiano regiano over the hot crust before adding the raw baby spinach leaves, feta & sauteed mushrooms. Delectable, crunchy, yet light.
This is their first branch away from the flagship on Federal Hill in Providence. They are in a new sports-business-daycare park on Pound Hill Road, just off of Route 146. They have a varied menu of grilled & "traditional" pizzas, calzones, subs, pastas, salads, soups and the familiar appetizer line-up. Full bar, reasonable wine & beer prices.
Our 14" pizza was $13.00; pints of draft Harpoon IPA & Newport Storm were $4.25 each. They are open seven days for take-out or table service dining. Go.
