Blue Water Grill - why is it so popular?

Does this place have a superior raw bar? Because we went last night and were disappointed. It's like they have all the right dishes on the menu but none of it is at a high level of quality. Kind of like eating Tasty O's instead of Cheerios.

Last night - the tuna ceviche had an okay citrus accompaniment but the fish was far from high-quality. The salads were okay. We all got fish. The corn-crusted salmon was okay but too salty. The glazed chilean sea bass mediocre, its accompanying sticky rice flavorless. The arctic char special was a disaster - one of the pieces was overcooked, the other totally rare. The desserts were just okay, as was the service. Why is this place so popular?
