I am going to be down near "Walton's Mountain" this weekend, for a drive with the family, I figure the foliage will be pretty good that way along route 29 and the mountains west of there.
I would like to stop at Blue Ridge Pig in Nellysford on route 151, but it doesn't seem to actaully have an address.. can someone help me spot it other than "its at a gas station" - maybe another landmark nearby would help.
Is the gourmet shop worth stopping at nearby ( something like Basic Necessities)?
After lunch I plan to head back to route 29 and stop either at the Apple Shed for some apple and jellies and such, or if the chowpup is well behaved I will go all the way down to Drumhaller's Orchard for the fall Apple Butter festival... of course every minute further we go down 29, thats another minute we have to drive back with the chowpup.
Any must stop chow destinations in the area?
