I saw the menu and spoke with someone from the restaurant today. they are opening next month where Richie Palmer's was. They are modeling the place after an East Coast seafood shack.
Oysters are the main focus, but also on the menu are fried clams with bellies, lobster rolls and buckets of steamers.
it's affiliated with the Blue Plate on Montana.
Looks like a good addition to the neighborhood.

La Cachette French Bistro is close to opening across the street from the Marriott and Loews, and a new micro brew tap house is being fitted out just down the street from the Yard on Broadway.
I think things are really starting to pick up in the neighborhood with the expectation that Santa Monica Place is going to have a big impact on future business.
