I'm seeking the best BLT in the SD area....location not really a problem, as I'll drive just about anywhere for a good one. While I do think that the best BLT is generally one made at home in the heat of summer, sometimes I just can't be bothered.
BTW, when making one at home, I like to make the most decadent, pricey sandwich possible by getting all my veggies from Chino Farm, multi-grain bread from Bread and Cie, Nieman Ranch bacon, and goat cheese from Velissimo. And if you haven't tried one, a fried green tomato BLT is pretty freaking awesome as well.
But I digress...your suggestions for a superlative BLT would be most appreciated!
