We had one of everything... The soup was intense in flavours, the poblano generous in size, the fish dish was enormous (mahi mahi) with its accompaniments (asparagus, green beans, bok choy, squash, carrot), the steak (in my case rare) deliciously tender with the same accompaniments, the tamale was moist and not greasy, the peanut butter creme brulee was too much like Reece's (even shaped that way), but the pineapple coconut quinoa with a strawb sauce was over the top.
I'd recommend it. Beer was $7 a bottle (Leffe Blonde, Creemore, etc.). Good value tonight.
Bloom had a Peru menu for the summer, I missed it. Chef Pedro wants to have a Latin American prix fixe through the year, featuring a different Latin country each month.
I have NO commercial interest in Bloom, and thus NO conflict-of-interest in recommending it. LOL..
