Would love some recommendations for a NY Chowhounder travelling to Berlin (4 nights), Paris (5 nights) and London (4 nights) with her 82 year old, very hip and also a foodie, Mom. (Mid April) Mom lived in Paris in the '80s and we are both very familiar with the City, but always open to suggestion. In Berlin we're staying near the KaWeDa store, in London, Kensington Gardens, if that helps at all. I know in NY I'll go to any neighborhood that has a great restaurant.
Are the restaurants on top of the Reichstag and TV Tower worth visiting/making a reservation for?
I've read about Katz Orange in Berlin here, looks like a great place and will definitely have a meal there. We both cook, so love creative and unusual creations as well as traditional food. Budget is probably around EU 50 pp, we are used to high prices coming from NY.
Thanks in advance for suggestions.
