The Berkshires with a baby

My husband, baby son and I will be staying in North Adams for two nights this week and I'm hoping for some recommendations for relaxed lunches and dinners at spots that won't mind seeing a well-behaved baby. I can't get a sense of the most baby-friendly places in North Adams, Great Barrington, or in between -- we'll be in Great Barrington on Thursday at lunchtime and beyond that don't have much in the way of plans. I think dinner Wednesday and Thursday night would ideally be closer to North Adams, and places that can accommodate us fairly early (5 / 5:30?). We'd also be very happy, I think, to take it to go and have dinner at Porches.
We live in Boston and love Hammersley's, Metropolis, Picco, the Paramount, Franklin Cafe, Coppa, the Buttery, etc. Reasonably priced, good ingredients, warm atmosphere, not stuffy at all.
A recent search turns up Cafe Adam but I can't tell how baby-friendly it is.
Please help! And thanks so much.
