Berkeley - Casa Latino Panadria and Taqueria

Krys | Apr 28, 2005 04:45 AM

This is one of the better panadria’s in the Bay Area. The main point being that the baked goods are fresh. Nice custard turnovers with a delicate crust and sprinkled with sugar. Pretty good horchata. Not too sweet.

The long sweet rolls with sweet cheese fillings are drop dead delicious, like a good cheese Danish.

There is a small menu with tacos, burritos, fajita burritos, tortas, pambazo’s and tamales.

The tamales are:
Raja’s
Verde: chicken
Roja: pork

Measts available are chicken, steak, carnitos, chorizo and barhacoa.

Located on the corner of San Pablo Avenue and Delaware near Popeyes.
