Beacon Hill Bistro for RW

A girlfriend picked this restaurant for dinner for 3 during RW, and we loved it. Not a place I knew anything about, but the service was friendly, and the dinner was terrific. I'll admit that the pre-dinner cocktails ($10 - a "Beacon" - gin, pear liqueur, lime juice -yum)) and the 3 flights of accompanying wine (A sauv. blanc, a great russian river pinot noir and a sauternes) for $15.00 went a long way toward our appreciation of the dinner.
Between us, we ordered from the RW menu- warm oyster salad, endive salad with goat cheese and beets, potato leek soup with the sweetest, freshest mussels I've ever had, duck breast with lentils, mixed seafood entree, and apricot and chocolate desserts.
We sobered up over coffee, and were never rushed. We intend to return soon to try the regular menu!
