Yesterday I went to Cooper's in downtown Raleigh - solid place all around. Good cue, good sides (best hush puppies I've ever had), cheap (6 bones for cue, ribs, and 2 sides), perfect atmosphere (paper plates, styrofoam cups, over-friendly waittress). I was pumped but my sister whose been living down here longer wasn't impressed. she says Bullock's (where i haven't been) is better.
today I went to Allen and Son out by old 86. good, but overpriced and certainly not as good as Cooper's or Murrays (on old poole rd.) which remains my favorite.
a trip to bullocks and my triangle cue adventure will be complete. . .
