Bay Area St. Patrick's Day Bars & Antlers in Pinole

Driving around SF today, every bar had a banner with info about St Patrick's Day.

What's your favorite place for a beer and some Corned Beef and Cabbage, an homage that I'm sure that would have horrified the good Saint (yes I know CB & C is to Irish as Tex Mex is to Mexican).

I hear that Tadich's has good corned beef and cabbage.

Mel's dinner on Geary usually has a decent dish.

I've been avoiding the bars on St. Pat's day in recent years, however, in days past did the Harrington's thing when I worked near there. Also squeezed in to Buena Vista for an Irish Coffee one year.

But driving around SF, it seems there must be a slew of places to toast St. Pat without the major scene.

In the South Bay around Hayward on Mission, there seem to be quite a few Irish bars.

If you find yourself in Pinole, Antlers is serving Corned Beef And Cabbage for lunch and dinner. Bud and Bud Light will be $1 a glass,

Should you consider Antleres, here's a post about the ambiance to expect.
