Looking out the window, the idea of a hot toddy and yummy pub fare before a cracklin' fire comes to mind -
I understand that Christopher's in Porter Square has a fireplace -
(My personal favorite was the Wharf Rat in Fells Point, Baltimore, with its huge open hearth at the back of the bar - a great place on a cold, winter night.)
Chowhounders, I ask you:
Any thoughts of other such animals in Boston and surroundings?
Do you agree that the chow can actually taste better in such surroundings?
(Oh, please no posts about Fireplace in Washington Square - that's too easy ;-)
