Had lunch there today and thought it was pretty darn good. I'll preface this by saying that I'm not a BBQ expert so I don't know what is authentic St. Louis style vs. Texas style, I just thought the ribs were moist and smoky without being slathered in sauce. Chicken was good as well with a tiny bit of kick to it. You do leave the place reeking a bit but the smell inside is great. Nice retro-ish decor as well.
I've been to Southbound in Valhalla a number of times and have been told that it's pretty authentic Texas style from some Dallas based colleagues. I've mostly had pulled pork there (which is good) but not the ribs. How do these restaurants compare in the minds of BBQ aficionados?
