I was eating a fried turkey leg at Tasty Q on Crenshaw. Two old ladies walked past talking about the barbecue church on Avalon. They said it's only on Friday and Saturdays. What the hell are they talking about?
Is is a real church that serves Q to beef up attendence? Is it an old shut down church that now serves Q. Is it where those who worship Q meet to give thanks.
I was intrigued but I let the ladies drive away. Now the mystery of a barbecue church is stuck in my teeth and it's driving me mad. Any ideas?
