Bar 10/Turner Fisheries

Had a fun time Sat. at these two places. Bar 10 is a really comfy, dimly lit bar in the Westin that serves food but we only checked out the appetizers and drinks. They had some martinis for two that cost $20 so we chose a wimpy kind with chambord. You basically got two drinks each out of the shaker, so that was a good deal. Split a nice grilled flatbread w/ arugula, goat cheese and artichokes which was a good way to start. Ate at the bar at Turner Fisheries. Never was there before they renovated but that's a nice room too. We split a half bottle of pinot grigio with our grilled calamari w/ polenta (a popular app these days) and a very crabby crabcake with some lemon fennel sauce. Even the rolls and butter were really good. Split a grand marnier souffle that didn't have much orange flavor to it but souffles in general are a good thing, with lots of vanilla custard sauce.

BTW in the "yummy food and drinks" thread, I mentioned that Atlantic Seafood had cheap happy hour apps but I meant Atlantic 101 by the North End/waterfront.
