We had a surprisingly elegant dinner at this Afghani restaurant.
Appetizers were a delicate samosa-type pastry with a pungent garlic-yogurt sauce and a knock-out looking bread drizzled with a lighter sauce and marinated in oil and herbs.
For entrees, we had lamb shank and chops, respectively. Both came with palow (sp?) rice. Complex seasoning but straightforward grilling -- also noticed people having kabobs that looked delicious. Beautiful presentation.
