I'm in charge of organizing a bachlorette party in early June for a group of 6 or 7 women all professionals in their early '30s . We have reservations at Nola's for dinner Friday night, but I don't know where to make reservations for Saturday night.
We're looking for someplace a little bit sophisticated and upscale, but not stuffy or formal. And we definitely want someplace with good food and good lighting! Plus, we want someplace that takes reservations, I don't see this group of girls waiting patiently in line, unless it's at a bar somewhere. I don't anticipate that we'll be very wild at dinner, that will just have to come afterwards.
So I've been to Bayona, and I do not think it is the kind of restaurant we would like to go to. It's not the right atmosphere. Just to give a suggestion, of our tastes.
Also, if anyone has any lunch or brunch suggestions on Sunday, that would be great. One idea we've thought of is to take the cable car to Dante's kitchen (unsure of correct name). Plus, the bride has vetoed Commander's or is it Brennan's for brunch.
