Every year, we take the kids to Dutch Wonderland, and every year we struggle with where to eat afterwards. We hail from Baltimore, know no-one in Lancaster or surrounding areas, and would like to know the following:
1) What is the best "authentic" Pennsylvania Dutch restaurant in/around Lancaster? What are the best dishes? Which have the best value (e.g. fried chicken great, modest to inexpensive - or - sauerbraten terrific, expensive, etc.)? Please be specific.
2) What are the best restaurants of other types of cuisine?
3) What restaurants should we avoid (e.g. too expensive for what you receive, wait too long to be seated, etc.)?
Again, any response would be much more helpful if specifics of quality, price, value are included.
