The place was never 5 star. But for me it used to be a safe downtown standby for a businessy dinner. A friend was staying at the Lenox and he suggested it so I said what the heck and restrained myself from suggesting a trek to someplace more worthy.
The "grilled" fish looked like it had been poached or pre-cooked then thrown on the grill for a second or two to get some grill marks. The sauteed spinach was flavorless. The corn pudding likewise. Every single entree looked limp. Noone said a darned thing about the food in our party of three mostly I think because it was so abysmal.
Last time I ate there a year or so ago it was heading toward the shark, it has officially jump it.
The waiter was nice, the service excellent, the food, just barely edible.
