I've lamented the closing of one restaurant after another on the stretch of Atlantic Avenue between Henry and Court Streets - close to home in every sense. Some of the addresses will have new food places in them, some already have, and while most of this isn't news, putting it together in one message may be useful. Anyone with fuller or more recent info, please speak up!
This is copied from www.smalltownbrooklyn.com which includes an address-by-address street map of Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, etc. A great resource. They keep their information pretty accurate and reasonably up to date.

really, coming soon
I look in the window now and then and don't see much progress or anybody working on it. Clearly not in a hurry!

No food service, just a bar.

There was a La Mancha restaurant on the corner that closed 10 years ago, then Meson Flamenco with the same chef but a new owner opened at this address, and now it has been replaced by a new La Mancha. Don't know much about it and haven't eaten there yet.
La Bouillabaisse was here, long since closed. I hear that its owner has opened Bouillabaisse 126 at 126 Union Street, 9 blocks south of Atlantic on Columbia St. near the waterfront. Haven't been there.
Formerly the Moroccan Star's last stand. A picture in the window that looks like a picnic with a basket of bread next to it, no ID of what's opening there, just "coming soon".
