We know that Kaygetsu in Menlo Park is famous for their exquisite set dinners (kaiseki style), and also the fact that Toshi-san, formerly of Toshi's sushi-ya that was a local favorite now works at Kaygetsu. (Is he still there?)
And I remember reading that the sushi is the same, but now pricier. I don't think there are any reviews of the sushi itself, since people go their for the set dinners instead.
So I'll be the first to ask. Has anyone been to Kaygetsu recently and had only sushi, sat at the bar? I remember enjoying a few meals at Toshi's sushi-ya in the past. Is it still the same (despite maybe price changes)? Any highs and lows? Thanks!
