Been meaning to post these for a while.
Recent trip to Atasca:
Excellent grilled sardines;nice charcoal flavor.
Arroz a la Valenciana not quite Paella, but really excellent. The ONLY time I have ever had such a dish with real saffron, and plenty of it in a restaurant.
Also the pineapple coconut tart was excellent.
Finally made it to Grotto. What can I say, everyone was right. Had the infamous Gnocci which rocked. If anything, my buddy had the pasta with peas, proscuitto, and cream sauce which might have even been better then the Gnocci.
Salads were great.
Wait staff was amusing, service excellent. Gave us a great rec on a reasonable wine which now eludes me.
Can't wait to go back.
