So, I forgot the name already. It's just across from the Met. The only thing "fusion" about this place is that they have Thai and Sushi on the same menu. We considered leaving the minute we took a look at the menu but decided to stick it out since we were pretty hungry.
We have enough sushi places in the area now...Inaka, Osake, Club Sushi, and Wasabi. The last thing Cobble/Boerum Hill needs is another so-so sushi bar. The decor is innovative, abeit a little rough around the edges, and provided us with interesting eye-candy. The tom yum soup was really good. The sushi, on the otherhand, wasn't flavorful and the rice seemed dry and bland. Honestly, there are plenty of other places to get sushi (I like Inaka best) and I think I have overdosed on the stuff anyway.
Basically, if this new addition to Smith Street actually fused together cuisines making for inventive eats, it might be a good place for an inexpensive meal. As it is now, I'll pass.
