Dined at Rezaz for a late lunch Sat. It was their 2nd day opened. They bill themselves as a Medditeranean restaurant and are located in the touristy area around the entrance to Biltmore House.
Appears they are really trying to begin with a splash. Very friendly front of house, almost overly-attentive wait staff (we were there in the dead period between lunch and dinner), very nice atmosphere. Prices were reasonable at lunch.
My duck confit sandwich with arugula and dried cherries was quite good and served on a home-made foccacia-ish roll. Sweet potatoes fries had a sort-of pesto-ish topping, which although not bad, made them soggy. My husband was not as pleased with his pork kebob, it was overly salted.
There was an interesting selection of wines by the glass, not your typical offerings.
The menu looked great at this new restaurant. I suppose time will tell whether the chef will be able to execute everything well.
I recommend that locals give it a try and see what you think.
