So it looks like I'm going to be NYC in the near future and I'll probably be checking out a Mets game. It seems like the Arepa Lady of 79th and Rooselelt would be a good stop on the way back. My problem is that I'm from Chicago and while I have a decent grasp of Manhattan and Brooklyn, Queens is pretty foreign to me. Since I'll be with my girlfriend and this will be late at night I'd like to do this without putting us in harms way by walking the wrong direction, etc...
I should point out that both of us do not scare easy neighborhood-wise, there's nowhere in Chicago we won't go to track down chow, but that's partly because we've lived here forever and understand neighborhood subtelties, but I feel it's wise to at least ask if there's anything we should know before wandering around this area by foot late at night.
So, all that being said, what train stop do we get off and what direction do we walk?
