Four of us are going to a matinee this coming Sunday. We are driving from Queens. We would like to eat dinner 5:30ish after the show. I was considering Miss Maude's near 138th Street. The thing is we don't want to waste a lot of time after the show moving the car, looking for parking etc. Parking in a lot/garage is no problem. Is it better to walk, take cab, or should I try to drive the 13 blocks and look for parking?
Do they take/will we need reservations?
If we were to change our plans and eat before the show, say 12 noon, I suppose the restaurants are even more crowded at that time being a Sunday (I notice they open at 11); would this be correct? We can be a little more flexible with time pre-show than later. Sunday starts daylight-savings time so who knows, maybe everyone will be sleeping late and not making it to the restaurant as early. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
