Hi fellow hounds,
My Indina co-workers introduce me to this place and I really enjoy their food. The restaurant is located at the junction of 237 and Lawerance Expressway, inside a industrial park, so finding it and parking nearby are both challenging.
According to my co-worker, this is an example of Gujarati home cooked food. The food is served in plastic trays with unlimited helping of rice, chapati, 2-3 vegetable dishes, indian pickles and some indian sweet. Also comes with spiced buttermilk.
The dishes changes every day. One day we had a Gurajarati style dal, which is more soupy than the mash potatoe texture of orange dal that is served in most restaurant. There is usually a simple stir fried vegetable dish like green beans with peas.
Lunch comes to $8 per person after tax and tips.
