I'm here now, typing on my iPhone. 9:10 and the place is packed. No wait, but no empty tables.
First, they got their liquor license. No inventory yet, so byob right now. Should have inventory next week. Beer, wine and homemade sangria.
Very few specials now, because the specials were so popular that they're all on the regular menu now: red and green pepian, Mexican meatballs, etc. At dinnertime, they no longer distribute the American menu, just the Mexican one.
One special tonight: fish tacos. Three small tacos, delicately fried fish, slaw, avocado and sauce. Amazing! I told Luis they need to go on the permanent menu.
Just when you thought this place couldn't get any better ....
