Amorina on Vanderbilt - good experience

We had a very nice meal at Amorina this weekend - the pizza has a bit of heft to it - very well put together and thoughtfully seasoned toppings - both the siciliana (fennel, roasted onion, olives, orange and ricotta) and the trecolore (mozz, cherry tomatoes, arugula, mainly, the latter with a little salt and oil on the leaves, a great touch), good trecolore salad, orecchiete with broccoli, a little soft but tasted great and a slice of cheesecake. With the very good olive bread offered, and a nice bottle of wine from Fermented Grapes across the street (hope they stay BYO!), and an casual neighborhood crowd, a great addition to the Prospect Hts eating scene.

this is real Italian flavored food, and the pizza was on a par with or better than the best we had on our recent roman visit.
