I had the best churros the other night and thought I would share. Usually churros are cold and hard but my husband stopped at this little cart in Richmond on 23rd Street across from Portumex the other night and bought a bag for 5 bucks. The couple who owns the cart makes them fresh while you wait so they were still hot, crispy with a gooy center when he brought them home. There was so much we even reheated them in the toaster oven last night and they were still delicous. I can't remember the last time I've had such good churros.
