Alaska Pete's near Stroudsburg

Just wanted to post that I was to this spot on Saturday evening. The place is located on Rt. 209 approximately 4 miles north of Stroudsburg in the small hamlet of Marshall's Creek. I had the prime rib and my friend ordered the filet mignon, his usual.

The menu really impressed me. While the restaurant touts itself as mainly a steakhouse, don't let that fool you. Roast duck, pork chops, as well as other menu choices gives you a selection to choose from. Good selections of appetizers make for good pub grub. Lots of local beers and wines to choose from as well. As stuffed as I was, I also ordered dessert which consisted of an almost black chocolate cake layered with chocolate mousse and covered in dark chocolate. Overall, very good. If your ever in the area, I highly recommend it.
