Went to the Four Seasons lobby restaurant for their saturday high tea menu. First of all, let me say that I did not expect to enjoy myself at all (I'm more the Vietnamese pho type of gal). But this was far more pleasant than I expected. The tea was great (I chose floral Jasmine), the sandwiches and desserts so so, but the scones and the accompanying lemon custard were yummy.
There were a few things though that I thought made the experience not worth the $26 + tax:
- they gave us only strawberry jam
- 5 of us were crammed into the very corner of the place, despite advanced reservations
- service was somewhat spotty, and when we paid, the person who paid with a credit card got charged the wrong price.
