I'm heading to Atlanta in just a couple of days and now I am rethinking my plans. I'm staying at the Renaissance Waverly hotel without a car during my stay so I know I will have to rely on cabs to get to dinner.
I was planning to have dinner at JCT Kitchen, Mary Mac's Tea room and one other location -- which I was still trying to decide upon. Other restaurants I am considering are:
Holeman & Finch
Mary Mac's was on my list because I've heard of it for so long and because it seemed like the "go to Southern spot." But now, with these other places tempting me I'm debating not going to Mary Mac's and hitting two of the other spots listed above. Is Mary Mac's worth a visit or should I skip it? I can't do the real high end places because I have to stick close to the government per diem of $56 per day for food.
