9-1/2 Weeks in DC, a report

Some background: Modest budget (no Citronelle). Vegetarian + fish and dairy. Solo diner for the most part.

1. Wow, wow, wow!
-Haad Thai. Just brilliant. Absolutely consistently beautiful to the eye and the mouth. Nice, modest portions. Lovely polite service. I ate here at least 8 times and regret not going more. No other Thai place entered my viewfinder after finding this one.
-Teaism. Everything about it was superb. OK, almost everything. Cold salmon with cold teriyaki sauce is a little weird. But all else, very very good.
-Fish & Chips at Capital City Brewery. Tilapia? Yes! Nice beers too.

2. Pleasures
-Firehook Bakery (Capitol Hill) was my favorite place for coffee
-Sunday Brunch at Gadsby's Tavern in Alexandria
-The Rice Krispie treats at the Spy Museum Cafe (see previous thread)
-The candy selection at Cafe Mozart
-Kooper's Tavern (Baltimore) for crab cakes

3. Not bad on the fly
-Whole Foods' hot bar/salad bar (P St.)
-Burrito Bros. fresh spinach burrito
-Cosi; ABP

4. I was not so impressed
-Full Kee
-Eastern Market

5. What the hell was I thinking?
-Fuddrucker's veggie burger
-Library of Congress cafeteria

6. Good things (file under Not About Food)
-The Richter show
-The 9:30 Club
-The windows at Pink's clothing shop on Connecticut
-Lulu's
-The Vietnam Veterans' Memorial

Bonus question: I have a few days left. What am I missing?
