Coming in September with 8 women in my family ranging in age from 19 to 70. All with a fun spirit, but very different tastes. This is what I have so far and would love any advice. Totally overwhelmed with all the options.
Thursday night - Need rec on casual, but good food, "We are tired from our trip, but it's our first night in NYC" restaurant. Maybe something near TS as we are going to walk through there and then to Rainbow Room Grill for drinks afterword.
Friday Night Pre-Theater Dinner - Have reservation at 21 Club as it seems "Old New Yorkey" and historic and would be fun for the older gals in our crowd. Thoughts? Any better recs.
Saturday Lunch Near Canal Street - Need recs on good chinese food in the area.
Saturday Afternoon - Need cheap and casual early afternoon/dinner option in Soho. Maybe something ethnic. Doing 7:00 Circle Line Cruise after that.
Sunday Night - Need dinner rec for our last night of the trip. Something with a lively, fun New York vibe with great food and great atmosphere, but not expensive or fancy. We are staying in Mid-town.
Basically we want to experience a variety of local food, but not spend a ton of money. Want more casual great food vs. fancy and expensive. Want something memorable.
