Only 4 Days in SF, Inexpensive, yummy and fun

We lived in SF (Sunset Dist.) for 7 yrs. and moved (unhappily) 15 yrs. ago. We are returning for a brief stay following a trip down the coast from Seattle.

We are staying at Columbus and Francisco, but we will have a car and love the public transportation. It will be my husband, myself and our 15 yr. old son.

Here are the parameters: strictly casual attire, entrees under 15 dollars. We have the opportunity for 3 dinners and lunches, plus we like juice, coffee, pastry type thing in the AM. We are not afraid of walking. We moved to a Mayberryish type town in SW Florida, so please help us give our poor son some exposure to ethnicity and the urban scene. No Fisherman's Wharf suggestions for dining, please.

Having checked this site, I'm considering:
Win's'
Pizzetta 211
The Grove (breakfast?)
La Taqueria or La Corneta
Marco Polo Italien Ice Cream
Frog Hollow Farm (scones)
Canvas Cafe
Wolfgang Puck Express (Macy's basement)
Emmy's Spaghetti Shack

Thanks for your help.
