2G Japanese Brasserie in San Francisco

A couple months ago I stopped by 2G Japanese Brasserie in Opera Plaza for a solo lunch. I tried the homemade curry lunch plate with pork katsu, $11. The cup of miso soup to start was better than average. The mild curry prepared with a vegetable broth base included chunks of potatoes and carrots and softened, sweet slabs of onion. The katsu had a nice breading even if it was a bit dry. Certainly a satisfying lunch.

A friend had recommended 2G for Japanese breakfast on the weekends. What else can chowhounds report on here?
