Restaurants & Bars San Diego

We were in Old Town last night and wanted to eat before a play. Wanting some thing other than touristy Mexican food we tried 25forty bistro on Congress Street. We were very pleasantly surprised at the meal.
My wife had the blueberry chicken which came with mashed potatoes, zucchini, and green beans. It was very good and a bargain at $17. I had the duck and white bean casserole which was delicious.
I also had a side of wilted spinach which had a great flavor. The casserole was huge but being a p-i-g I managed to finish it.
Dinner was finished with very good coffee and "home made" pastry.
The only negative to me was the very small beer list. In San Diego this is bad.
We will definitely return the next time we are in Old Town.
