Six of us going to Hog Island Monday for birthday oyster picnic & BBQ. We're bringing Diavola sausages & corn to grill, fresh tomatoes- bruschetta, a couple of cheeses ( suggestions?) maybe some garlic bread ( inspired the the awesome version from Anchor Oyster Bar in SF) PLUS a cake from Momofuko Milk Bar( yes, the cost to ship it IS more than the cake). My conundrum is that I want to bring 5-6 bottles of sparkling wine plusSauvignon Blanc without breaking the bank. Suggestions?
