2 Great/2 disappointing Staten Island Restaurants and Where's the Thai?

Being fairly new to S.I. (from Jackson Heights Queens
originally) I haven't been to that many restaurants but
I have found 2 that were outstanding.

Basile's (Italian) on Forest Avenue is top notch but
way too small and tight (overcrowded also). The food is
worth the packed quarters but be prepared to wait.

King's Chef (Chinese) also on Forest is delicious.
Especially liked the Shrimp with Honey Walnut sauce and
General Tso's.

One major disappointment that has been raved about was
Denino's pizza , didn't care for it and the service was
poor. Nunzio's on the other hand is delicious. Some of
the best pizza I've ever had and a cool nostalgic place
to boot.

Also though Goodfellas Brick oven was disappointing.
Preferred LaRocco's on Midland.

Why are there no Thai Restaurants on
