Help! My 12-year old is visiting Quebec City

KevinB | Feb 8, 2009 06:02 PM

My daughter is on a school trip to Quebec City, leaving Tuesday morning. Today, when I looked at her itinerary, I was aghast to see that for two lunches in the old city, they will be turned loose with $5, and are expected to find lunch. Naturally, we've given her extra money, but any advice on where she might find something in the $5-10 price range that isn't a fast food chain (she gets enough of those here) would be gratefully appreciated.

Also, on their last day, they spend it at Village Valcartier. I've been to their website, and it seems she'll have to choose between one of the snack bars for dinner. Any advice on which one to go to, or are they all basically the same?

Thanks in advance!
