Why Oath Craft Pizza Is So Successful

Nothing says weekend enjoyment better than a great pizza so why not enjoy it for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Impossible, you say? Then you haven’t been to Oath Craft Pizza yet.

We recently visited their newest location in Chestnut Hill Square to see what the buzz has been all about since they opened their first location on Nantucket. Since then, the brand has expanded to include four locations, including Davis Square in Somerville and South Station in Boston.

At Oath, it’s all about the crust. Theirs is perfectly crispy made with 100 percent pure grain North Dakota Mills flour that is flash seared in pure olive oil then grilled in a convection oven for just 90 seconds delivering a perfectly golden, chewy crust. The result? “An aromatic, crunchy crust with a buttery flavor,” says Tianna Tarquino, Oath’s marketing manager. “We also have a selection of seasonal pizzas that feature lots of local flavors.”

Try the Hen & Hog breakfast pizza topped with mozzarella, egg white, sausage, green peppers, sweet red peppers and Sriracha drizzle or the egg and cheese flatbread sandwich. For a sweeter version, they even have a French toast pizza made with ricotta and real maple syrup.

When it comes to toppings for lunch or dinner, you can create your own in the form of a half or whole pie and pair it up with an all-natural Stubborn craft soda.

Classics include cheese (our favorite), pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms; but we recommend trying one of their specialty pizzas like Bella topped with mozzarella, roasted cherry tomatoes and garlic, ricotta, parmesan and basil drizzled with balsamic or the Spicy Mother Clucker, a spiced up version with mozzarella, rose pickled red onion, scallions, Sriracha sauce and Sriracha chicken.

One of the best reasons to stop by Oath is for a taste of the Triple Chocolate Cookie Pizza. There is nothing quite like biting into this super sweet dessert pizza topped with triple chocolate chip cookie, dough, creamy ricotta dusted with powdered sugar. All of the pizzas here are made with the same crust, but the difference in taste from the savory breakfast to the fried-dough like dessert pie will have you questioning your taste buds.

Oath Craft Pizza is located at 210 Boylston Street in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
