To spice up your sandwich, Calabrian chilis are a beloved condiment used by chefs like Bobby Flay, and you can use them to make your very own spicy mayonnaise.
Tangy, smooth mayo, and subtly powerful hot peppers combine to create a creamy, spicy orange condiment that can keep a sandwich from being too dry and dull.
You can add Calabrian chili paste to homemade mayo if you're making it, or mix it with store-bought mayo. Make this paste at home by following influencer Owen Han’s recipe.
Make the enhanced mayonnaise with 2 tablespoons of Calabrian chilis for every ¼ cup of mayo. For a milder recipe, use half a tablespoon of the chilis instead.
