Your BLT Will Sing Loud And Proud With One Tomato Trick

To up your BLT game in a matter of seconds and give it an extra punch of flavor, take your cut tomato and season each slice individually with a pinch of salt and pepper.
After slicing your tomato, set it on a paper towel for a few minutes to let some of the juices drain before adding your seasoning. Salt it immediately so it doesn't drain too much.
Look for a tomato that is thick, juicy, and fully ripe, such as an heirloom or beefsteak variety. While kosher salt sticks especially well to tomatoes, any type of salt will work.
Flaky sea salt will add a subtle crunch, and experimenting with options like smoked, chili lime, or garlic salt can add some interesting flavor profiles to your sandwich.
