You Should Be Storing Costco Muffins In The Freezer

NEWS

By ALLIE WARD
Priced by the dozen and available in various flavors, Costco’s jumbo muffins are cheap enough to stock up on when they go on sale. You can freeze them to extend their shelf life.
To ensure the muffins taste just as good when thawed, freeze them as close as possible to the date they were baked. Freeze individual muffins or pieces of muffins to avoid wastage.
Store them properly by wrapping your Costco muffins tightly in plastic wrap and placing them in a freezer-safe plastic zip-top bag, labeling them with the freezing date.
To thaw the frozen muffin, leave it in the refrigerator or on the kitchen counter overnight, or pop it in the microwave and use the defrost setting in 30-second intervals.
