Why Costco Customers Are Annoyed With Its Maple Syrup Bottles

According to some unhappy Costco members, Kirkland's organic maple syrup has a very flawed cap design, with some claiming that it's super difficult to pour and keep clean.

The inner seal is hard to peel off, and the inner and outer spout don't line up. A Reddit user also said that the syrup constantly drips down the side of the bottle.

Since the cap never wants to stay closed after syrup crystallizes on the lid, the bottle looks destroyed after one use. In addition, the cap easily breaks off.

For Costco members who are fans of this syrup's flavor but not so much of the vessel it comes in, you can always pour the syrup into a glass bottle with a pour spout.
