Chocolate Chips

In the summer of 2024, Costco began selling out of its Kirkland Signature chocolate chips and replacing them with Nestlé Toll House chocolate chips.
The company explained that the move resulted from the rising cost of cocoa — which had increased 200% compared to the previous year — so this removal may only be temporary.

French Comté

While Costco offers a variety of cheeses, the Kirkland Signature French comté began disappearing from stores around 2018.
Fans began a Change.org petition to bring it back, which has 923 supporters. According to the petition, you may still be able to get the cheese as a seasonal item at some stores.

Parmesan Bread

Costco’s roasted garlic Parmesan bread is perfect for pairing with many dishes or as a snack on its own. Unfortunately, it has sporadically been pulled from shelves.
Fans have been posting about its disappearance on Reddit as far back as 2019 and as recently as 2024. There seems to be no specific reason for its discontinuation.

Chocolate Banana Drink

As one of the largest organic food retailers, Costco offers a range of certified products, like its Kirkland Signature Organic Chocolate Banana Almond drink.
This delicious non-dairy beverage consisted of organic banana puree, cocoa powder, almonds, cane sugar, and added vitamins. Sadly, it’s been discontinued at many stores.

Fruit & Nut Medley

The Kirkland Signature Fruit & Nut Medley was a snack filled with crunchy nuts and chewy fruits. Unfortunately, the snack started disappearing around 2016.
Despite its popularity among consumers, the snack hasn’t remerged since it began vanishing from shelves. It remains unclear why Costco pulled the product from stores.
