Cointreau
Cointreau is an internationally recognized French brand, and the preferred triple sec for many classic cocktails. It has a high alcohol content and a refined reputation.
A blend of orange liqueur and cognac, Grand Marnier is a little different from triple sec. It's darker in color than Cointreau and has a stronger flavor.
Triple sec gives a margarita its orange flavor to complement the sour lime juice. Drinks like cosmopolitans, sidecars, and Long Island iced teas usually include triple sec as well.
A splash of triple sec is enough to boost a drink’s alcohol content and sweetness. Both Cointreau and Grand Marnier can be sipped on their own as well.
Most opened bottles of liquor with high alcohol content last a few years when stored properly. Keep upright and away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dark spot.
