Instead of simply having pickles on your charcuterie board, try grating frozen pickles over the meats and cheeses to have their briny taste in every bite and add a pretty garnish.

While frozen sliced pickles are a refreshing treat, you'll want to freeze whole pickles for grating. Cornichons are the obvious choice, but you can also use dill pickles.
Pile of whole pickles
Simply freeze your pickles on a tray overnight or until frozen solid. Once your charcuterie board is ready, use a microplane to grate the frozen pickles directly over the platter.

You can also put the shavings in a bowl if you'd like more control over how much you add. It's up to you whether you want the pickle flavor on everything or just some select items.
